Een Samenzwering Der Idioten is a play by De Theatercompagnie, directed by Theu Boermans. It is about the life of Ignatius Riley, the protagonist of A Confederacy of Dunces, a posthumously published novel by John Kennedy Toole (Kennedy Toole himself committed suicide. He never found a publisher for his manuscripts). I edited several videos for this play and gave some advice about video-projection.
Film/Space is a monumental multi-channel video installation without sound. It exists of 24 projection-screens, placed in a precise spatial arrangement. The visitor walks around in a filmic landscape of continuously changing projected forms in perfect linear perspective. One’s ability to perceive space is constantly put to the test; the visitor is encouraged to view the installation from different perspectives and to see the projected images in relation to the physical space surrounding the installation.
Sonic Light was the name of the 2003 edition of the annual Sonic Acts festival. As a member of the editorial staff, i was involved in the design of the Light Box, a gigantic light-/videoprojection sculpture in the main hall of Paradiso, which served as the only light source during the festival.
