Light Mod­u­la­tor is a 16mm film-instal­la­tion. A film-loop is pro­ject­ed on a pre­cise­ly cut-out pro­jec­tion screen, cre­at­ing a ‘trompe-l’oeil-like’ effect. The mate­r­i­al for this project con­sists of chem­i­cal­ly and dig­i­tal­ly treat­ed found footage. This project func­tioned as a sketch for the Film/Space project. In coop­er­a­tion with Seema Ouwe­neel.
